Lucina Di Meco is a senior expert, advocate and writer on women’s leadership and gender equality globally and has worked in various capacities for a wide range of international nonprofits, including Vital Voices, International IDEA, the Westminster Foundation for Democracy, The Wilson Center, as well and UN agencies. Lucina has written for The Hill, The Huffington Post, Ms Magazine, New America, and The Council of Foreign Relations among others and her ground-breaking research on women in politics and social media has been featured on Time Magazine, Politico and Voice of America, among others.

Kristina Wilfore is serving as the Senior Advisor of Disinformation Strategies at the Strategic Victory Fund through the 2020 election cycle. As a democracy activist and international development specialist living outside of the US for the last decade, she has worked against authoritarian regimes and designed and implemented large-scale election integrity, political party, civil society and disinformation defense programs in post conflict and pre-revolutionary environments. Kristina has been on the ground working with Parliamentarians, human rights activists and women leaders in hotspots such as Ukraine, Turkey, Afghanistan, Serbia, Kosovo, Kenya, and 20 other countries. The Kyiv Post awarded her ‘Expat of the Year’ for her work to defend democracy in Ukraine in the lead up to the Revolution for Dignity. With roots in US activism, from 2002-2009, she was the first Executive Director of the Ballot Initiative Strategy Center, revolutionizing the way ballot measures where fought by the progressive and labor movement. Kristina has supported hundreds of women in their campaigns for higher office and worked hand-in-hand to break systemic barriers to political participation based on gender.
