Communications, Social & Graphics Fellow
Marina is from Tucson, Arizona, and moved from her beloved desert town to study International Relations in Edinburgh, Scotland. A final-year (and first-generation) student, Marina found her niche driving most of her political research through feminist international relations theory, though she is always keen to explore environmental policy and its gendered implications. On campus, Marina helps lead Girl Up Edinburgh, broadening our understanding of gender inequality and intersectionality by working with individuals from across the globe. When she has some free time, Marina loves to admire the dogs at her local park, go for wanders around town, bake obscene amounts of bread, and create playlists for every mood.
