Kristina Mitchell

Executive Coordinator

Kristina is a longtime advocate for the safety and justice of women and girls. After training at The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, she moved to LA to pursue the Arts. Along the way, she found “her people” in activism, advocacy and community organizing. She directed and produced “The Vagina Monologues” for 5 years benefitting V-Day and A Window Between Worlds. She was an LA Area Organizer for One Billion Rising in Los Angeles for 5 years and served as the Vice President of The Board of Directors for A Window Between Worlds, a non-profit
organization that uses art to heal trauma. In 2016, she worked with Hillary for America, and was an organizer for the Nevada State Democratic Party. She was a lead instructor for The Political Institute for Women’s Girls in Politics Initiative and in 2020 she earned her Master’s Degree in Political Management from The George Washington University. Kristina is a longtime friend of VRL as she is an alum, a certified national trainer, and now serves as the executive coordinator. She now lives in Minneapolis with her two dogs, Eloise and Paisley.
