When millions of people from coast to coast can easily chip in a few dollars online to their favorite cause or candidate, they make it possible for anyone to run for office, no matter their background or connections! Small-dollar donors can help you build a more sustainable campaign, get more people involved in your mission, and use your money more wisely. In this webinar, ActBlue’s digital fundraising experts will share with the Rep19 community how a small-dollar donor campaign is possible for any candidate — state, local, and federal — running anywhere. Topics include how to build your email list, harness the power of grassroots donors, and much more.
Erin Kingan is a State Outreach Associate with ActBlue, specializing in New Jersey and Pennsylvania politics. She works closely with the candidates in her region to train them on ActBlue’s digital fundraising platform and how to best reach small-dollar donors. Erin has a background in field organizing, digital marketing, and public relations. She graduated from Boston University and continues to reside in Massachusetts today.
Shayda Sales is the State and Local Outreach Assistant for California at ActBlue. She is a community organizer and believes strongly in grassroots movements and fundraising! Before joining ActBlue she was a student organizer for Bernie Sanders, as well as an organizer on various other issue-based campaigns, such as overturning the first iterations of Trump’s Muslim ban in Washington, D.C.
